Alex Shy, owner and operator of Shy Tree, is an ISA Board Certified Master Arborist, MD Licensed Tree Expert, and a qualified Tree Risk Assessor. Alex graduated with honors from West Virginia University with his B.S. in Natural Resource Management, which equips him with an in-depth understanding of sustainable practices. He actively teaches the MAC-ISA’s Arborist Certification Course, sharing his extensive knowledge with aspiring arborists in the community.
Alex also owns and operates an arboricultural safety and training company, the Arborist Development Group, where he focuses on enhancing safety protocols and fostering professional development among industry workers. His role as a Board Certified Master Arborist truly sets him apart in the field.
